To take a deeper look at this Bacardi has come up with a pioneering research known as Bacardi Together Index that will tell us more about if people are really happy about interacting with their friends and family through social media. The research is very simple where 146 questions are asked to 5000 American adults who will write down whatever they feel about socializing and interaction on the internet and social media.

The survey will also take into account whether people prefer to communicate with their loved ones through social media or in person. The results of Bacardi Together Index shows that the human spark is still alive and that people love to communicate in person.

As per the results of the survey it was found that 84% still believe that need to stay in touch with their friends and family members because it can help them to groom their personality and career. People feel that loneliness does not help at all and it could have a deep impact on the career as well. As per the survey there are 64% people who believe that face to face conversations are really better than communicating through social media because more emotions and feelings are exchange when you are talking in person.

On the other hand, 58% strongly believe that money can have huge impact on the relationships and lack of money is the sole reason why people want to stay away from their family. Geographical distances and lack of time were also among the top answers for not being able to stay together query.
