When there is no confusion as to whether you will serve the dessert hot or cold then try this preparation with some easy available ingredients.
Ingredients:
- Milk- 2 litre
- Sugar- 1 cup
- Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
- Cardamom (crushed)- 8-10
- Charioli nuts- 10-12 (chopped)
- Almond- 5-8 (minced)
Direction:
- Take a medium sized kadai & boil the milk on medium-low temperature.
- Stir continuously to make sure that the bottom is not burning.
- When the quantity gets reduced to half, take it of from the oven & place it separately.
- Now pour the lemon juice into the milk.
- Remember to stir continuously so that the mixture turns gritty in consistency.
- Place it again on medium heat..
- Pour the sugar & allow it to cook for almost 10-12 minutes more.
- Stir the mixture frequently.
- Now remove it from the oven & pour into the serving bowl.
- Add the nuts along with the cardamom thoroughly.
- You can serve it hot or cold.
