If you are getting bored of the same old taste then try this spicy recipe to give your family an unforgettable taste.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg- chicken
- 150 gm-Yoghurt
- 4 – Onion (big size) (chop & blend a few of those chopped onions)
- Salt- According to taste
- 5-6 – Garlic cloves (paste)
- 15-20 gm- Ginger (paste)
- 2-3 tbsp – Oil (mustard or vegetable)
- Chilli powder- As per taste
- 1 ½ tsp -Turmeric powder
Direction:
- Wash the chicken properly under running water.
- Take a medium sized bowl & pour the chicken pieces in the bowl.
- Now add the onion juice along with the ginger paste (1/2 of the total amount), salt, yoghurt, chilli powder & garlic paste (halt of the total amount).
- Marinate the chicken pieces with these ingredients & keep separately for almost 5 to 10 minutes.
- Take a Chinese wok & heat oil on medium temperature.
- Add the chopped onions and fry them well (keep a few of the chopped onions for garnishing).
- Now add the remaining garlic-ginger paste & stir properly.
- When it turns golden brown in colour, add the marinated chicken pieces.
- Stir well & add the two cups of water.
- Place the lid/cover & allow it to cook well.
- If more water is required to boil the chicken then add some extra water.
- When water evaporates completely & chicken pieces are boiled well then remove the cooking pot from the oven.
- Transfer it in a serving bowl & decorate with some chopped onions before serving.
- Enjoy this mouth watering recipe with some pilau rice or nun.
