While preparing vegetarian dishes we keep running out of ideas. So here is something new which you can try. It will give you a nice refreshing taste.
Ingredients:
- Frozen corn- 1 cup (thawed for 1 minute in the microwave)
- Tomato- 2 (large sized) chopped
- Paneer- 250 gm (small cubed)
- Salt- as per taste
- Vegetable oil- 4-5 tbsp
- Turmeric- ½ tsp
- Chilli powder- As much heat you can enjoy
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Direction:
- Pour the thawed corn into the food processor/blender & make a thick paste out of it.
- Now take a kadai or frying pan & heat oil on medium temperature.
- When oil turns hot then add the cumin seeds.
- Allow to crackle & add the turmeric along with the chilli powder & coriander.
- Stir well & allow it to fry for almost 2 minutes.
- Now add the diced tomatoes & stir again for almost 2-4 minutes.
- Bring down the temperature & add the mashed corn into the pan.
- Stir well to mix all the ingredients properly & then add the paneer pieces along with the salt.
- Stir well for almost 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat & transfer to a serving bowl.
- Your corn paneer is now ready to show its magic.
