Curd is recommended for keeping your body cool, especially in hot weather like India, yogurt/ curd is very useful in absorbing heat. So try this healthy food which has some nice flavour. Rice is one of our major staple foods just add another healthy ingredient to it & get some mouth watering taste.
Ingredients:
Boiled rice- 1 cup
Oil- 3-4 tbsp
Plain yogurt- 2 cup
Milk- ¼ cup
Green chilli- 1-2
Urad daal- 1 sp
Channa dal- 1 tsp
Salt- As per taste
Dehydrated or powdered coconut- 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Finely minced ginger- 1 ½ tsp
Minced coriander leaves.
Direction:
Take a large saucepan and heat oil in it.
Now add the mustard seeds.
Pour the chana dal & urad dal when the mustard seeds begin to crackle.
Stir & fry for a few minutes.
Add the green chilli & ginger & stir again for 2-3 minutes.
Now remove the pan from the oven & pour the rice, yogurt and the milk.
Add the dehydrated or powdered coconut along with salt.
Stir well to mix all the compounds properly & serve the magical curd rice.
