Soup is believed to be a healthy food for our body. Lentils are considered as a great provider of protein. So try the following healthy preparation & enjoy some healthy as well as tasty soup.
Ingredients:
- Garlic paste- 1 tsp
- Arhar dal (yellow split lentil)- 50 gm
- Curry leaves- 8-9
- Ginger paste- 1 tsp
- Butter- 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Salt & pepper- According to taste
- Water- 3 glasses
- Tomato puree- 50 gm
For decoration:
- Lemon-
- Boiled rice- ½ cup
Direction:
- Wash the lentil well & then boil it properly.
- Now take a frying pan & melt butter over the medium temperature.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste along with the curry leaves & tomato puree.
- Stir well & let it fry for a few seconds.
- Pour water (if needed you can add more water).
- Allow it to boil well.
- Before serving decorate with lemon along with boiled rice.
