This is the festive season & sweets or dessert is a major part of each & every festival. So try the following dessert preparation for this festive season.
Ingredients:
- Saffron- 1 tsp
- Raisins- 1-2 tsp
- Almonds- ½ cup
- Milk- 1 litre
- Pistachios- 1 tbsp
- Sugar- 250 grams
- Cardamom powder-1 tsp
Direction:
- For almost an hour soak the almonds.
- Then peel the skin & use the grinder to make a fine paste.
- Now take a tbsp of hot milk & liquefy the saffron.
- Place the melted saffron separately.
- Take a heavy bottomed vessel & pour the milk into the vessels.
- Now let it boil thoroughly & remember to stir it continuously.
- Pour the almond paste & let it simmer for almost 30-35 minutes.
- Remember to stir the milk constantly.
- Now add the raisins along with sugar, pistachios & saffron.
- Allow it to cook on the low heat till it turns thick in texture.
- Before taking it off from the flame, scatter some cardamom powder.
- You can serve this tasty dessert hot or chilled, whatever you want.
