Gobi Mussallam
Cauliflower is always a good & tasty vegetarian option for veg or even for non-veg lovers. Cauliflower has its own taste, at the same time rich with several nutritional values.
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower- 1 (medium sized, chopped into florets)
- Garlic-ginger paste- 1 tsp
- Onion- 1 (minced)
- Cumin powder- ½ tsp
- Tomato puree- ¼ cup
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder- ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder- As much heat you can enjoy.
- Salt- According to taste
- Oil- 4-5 tbsp
- Coriander leaves- 2 tsp (diced)
Direction:
- Take a medium sized saucepan & boil the cauliflower pieces in salted water.
- Add a little bit of (half of the) turmeric powder & allow it to boil thoroughly.
- Now take a frying pan & heat oil on medium temperature.
- Add the chopped onions & stir till it turns brown in colour.
- Pour the cumin powder along with the garlic-ginger paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder (remaining), garam-masala powder & salt.
- Stir well for a few minutes (allow it to fry).
- Pour the tomato puree & stir again.
- Now add the cauliflower (half cooked) pieces & stir properly.
- Allow it to cook for almost 10-12 minutes (stir often).
- Transfer from the heat & pour into the serving bowl.
- Decorate with the minced coriander leaves before serving.
