If your duty is prepare some vegetarian dish for the next kitty party then prepare this mouth watering option. You can make this recipe for your daily meal also. With a minimum effort you will get a tasty and a healthy dish.
Ingredients:
Hara chana- 1.4 kg
Oil- 5ml
Ginger- 4gm (minced)
Cumin powder- ½ tsp
Green chilli- 4 gm (diced)
Cloves- 10 gm
Asafoetida- 1 mg
Sugar- 3 gm
Garam masala powder- 5 gm
Lemon juice- few drops
Bay leah- 4-5
Salt-As per taste
Coriander leaves- To garnish
Direction:
Wash the hara chana properly & keep it aside.
Take a kadai or Chinese wok & heat oil on medium temperature.
Add bay leaves, cumin, ginger & green chilli.
Stir well to mix all the ingredients properly.
Let it fry for almost 3-5 minutes.
Now pour the washed chana & stir well.
Add water to boil the chana.
Allow it to cook until the hara chana is completely done.
Pour the lemon juice along with the garam masala powder & again stir for a few minutes.
Remove from the heat & transfer to the serving bowl.
Decorate the top with coriander leaves & serve hot with nan or roti.
