Hyderabadi mutton biryani is one of the most highly appreciated dishes among food lovers. With its mouth watering taste this dish is completely able to steal your heart.
Ingredients:
- Mutton- 1 kg
- Cumin seeds- 10 gm
- Rice- 1 kg
- Cardamom- 10gm
- Ginger- 40 gm
- Cinnamon- 10gm
- Fried onion- 50 gm
- Cloves- 10 gm
- Garlic- 20 gm
- Ghee- ¼ kg
- Curd- ¼
- Lemon- 2
- Coriander leaves- 1 bunch
- Green chilli- 100 gm
- Pudina- 1 bunch
Direction:
- Firstly wash the mutton pieces very well (you can use hot water also).
- Place the mutton pieces in a medium sized vessel.
- Take the blender & mix together ginger, along with the spices, garlic, fried onion & green chillies.
- Mix well till you get the smooth texture.
- Now pour the curd & mix again well.
- Keep it separately for almost ½ an hour.
- Pour 2 litres water & place it over the medium temperature.
- When water begin to boil then add the washed rice.
- Remove it in a semi cooked stage & stretch it over the spices as well as meat mixture like a layer.
- In the second layer use some more semi-coked rice & cooked rice for the final layer.
- Take a saucepan & boil a cup of water.
- Add ¼ kg ghee into it.
- Spread the ghee mixture over the rice.
- Place a plate over the vessel & use dough to seal it.
- Place the vessel over the heat & allow it to cook for almost 15 minutes.
- Switch it off & allow it stay for almost 15 minutes more.
- Tasty biryani is ready to create its magic.
