This year’s St. Patrick day is almost knocking on the door & you need to celebrate it with some occasion special preparation. You have nothing to worry about, because the following recipe would be your perfect dish for celebrating St. Patrick’s day.
Ingredients:
- Celery- 1 cup (diced)
- Salt- 1 tsp
- Condensed cream of chicken soup – 10.75 ounce
- Poultry seasoning – ½ tsp
- Water- 3 cups
- Onions- 2 (chop into quarters)
- Carrots- 5 (sliced)
- Chicken breast- 4 (boneless as well as skinless & cut into halves)
- Baking mix- 3 cups
- Black pepper (ground) – ½ tsp
- Green peas- 10 ounce
- Milk- 1 1/3 cups
- Potatoes – 4 (chop into quarters)
Directions:
- Firstly you need to arrange a heavy bottomed vessel.
- Now pour the water along with the chicken, onions, pepper, combine soup, salt, poultry seasoning & celery.
- Cover the vessel & allow it to cook for almost 1 ½ hours over moderate flame.
- Add the sliced carrots along with the potatoes & cover it again.
- Let it cook for another 30-40 minutes.
- Move out the chicken from vessel & chop it into small pieces.
- Place them (chicken pieces) again into the vessel & add the green peas.
- Allow it to cook for almost 5-8 minutes.
- Now pour the dumplings.
- Preparing dumplings:
- Add the baking mix till you get the soft dough texture.
- Into the boiling stew pour it one tablespoon at a time.
- Cover it & let it simmer for almost 10 minutes.
- Take the cover off & again simmer it for another 10 minutes.
