Puri is quite an overwhelming preparation among Indians. They love to have puri with their favourite side dish. So try this for your next holiday breakfast & provide your family some tasty enjoyment.
Ingredients:
- Carrom seeds/ajwain – 1 tsp
- Refined flour/maida- 3 cup
- Salt- As per taste
- Oil- 3 tbsp
- Oil- For deep frying
Direction:
- Take a large sized bowl & mix together refined flour along with the salt, oil (3 tbsp) & carom seeds.
- Pour water as much required to prepare a strong dough.
- Cover the bowl for almost an hour.
- Now prepare the small dumplings out of the dough.
- Use the rolling pin to prepare the puris.
- Take the Chinese wok or kadai & heat oil on medium temperature.
- Place the puris & fry it till it is prepared from both the side (turns golden in colour as well as crunchy).
- Serve it hot with some curry.
