Malpua is very common sweet dish prepared during Bengali festivals. With some easy ingredients it is always well appreciated. Sweet lovers always go crazy to taste the mulpua. With some taste bud tingling guaranteed flavour it is always a good option for every purpose.
Ingredients:
Milk- 1 litre
Suji/ semolina- ¼ cup
Ghee- 2-3 tbsp
Maida(All purpose flour)- ¼ cup
Direction:
Take a large sized saucepan & boil the milk till it thickens.
Now in a frying pan fry the semolina until it turns golden brown in colour.
Pour in the milk together with the maida.
Mix well till get the smooth texture.
Now in a frying pan heat the ghee on medium temperature.
Transfer the batter into a glass & now pour it in the frying pan in a circular motion.
Allow it to cook for few minutes & then turn it over to cook the other end (till you get the golden brown colour).
Make sure that it does not get hard or crisp.
Now make the sugar syrup as per your desired consistency & plunge the malpua into the sugar syrup.
Transfer it in a serving plate & serve.
