Pickle is a mouth watering preparation for every Indian. Its overwhelming taste provides us some different magic. Irrespective of ages people love to have pickle.
Ingredients:
- Onion seeds/kalonji- 15 gm
- Mango- 1 kg (raw)
- Mustard oil- 2 ½ cup
- Aniseed- 6 tsp
- Turmeric- 7 gm
- Salt- As per taste
- Fenugreek seed- 3 tsp
- Red chilli pepper- 30 gm
Direction:
- After removing the seed chop the mango into medium sized pieces.
- Marinate the mango pieces with red chilli along with the turmeric, salt & mustard oil.
- Now place the mango pieces into a glass jar (for almost 2 days) & keep the jar under the sun.
- Remember to shake the jar regularly.
- Add the remaining oil & again allow it to stay for almost 15 days.
- But this time not under sun & remember to shake the jar in every alternate day.
- Then after 20 days you can serve it.
- Make sure that the mango pieces should overspread the mango pieces.
