Usually we prefer to serve soft drinks in our parties. However several other options are also very mouth-watering. Try the following masala butter milk recipe & have some great fun.
Ingredients:
- Jeera/Cumin- 1 tsp
- Butter milk (thick) – 1 cup
- Salt- According to taste
- Ghee/clarified butter- 3-4 tsp
- Curry leaves- 3-4 springs
- Pepper corns- 1 tsp
- Grated copra – ½ cup
Direction:
- Clean the curry leaves well & let it dry properly.
- Now take a frying pan & heat the clarified butter over moderate temperature.
- Pour the grated copra & allow it to roast till it turns brown in colour.
- Place the roasted copra separately.
- Add another tsp of clarified butter & roast the curry leaves along with cumin & pepper until it turns brown in colour.
- Now finely grind the roasted ingredients along with the copra gratings.
- In another vessel pour a tsp of clarified butter & add the cumin.
- When it begins to scatter pour the butter milk (thick) & take it off from the heat.
- Add the ground masala into the thick butter milk.
- Add salt & stir well before serving.
