In present days mushroom is quite popular in Indian recipes. Many people prefer to add mushrooms for some delicious flavour. Try the following spicy recipe with mushrooms & enjoy some mouth watering taste.
Ingredients:
- Cloves- 4
- Tomatoes (medium sized)- 2 (chopped)
- Green chilli pepper- 6 (slit)
- Cooking oil- 1 cup
- Mushroom- ½ lb (minced)
- Onion (medium sized)- 2 (diced thinly)
- Fenugreek/methi leaves- 1 tbsp (crushed)
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Cinnamon stick- 1 (small)
- Garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp
- Red chilli pepper- 1 tsp
Direction:
- Take a kadai/Chinese wok & heat oil over the medium temperature.
- Pour cinnamon along with cloves & stir for a few seconds.
- Now add the chopped onions & fry it till it turns golden brown in colour.
- Pour the turmeric powder along with salt, cumin powder, garlic paste & red chilli powder.
- Stir well & add a little bit of water.
- After frying the masalas well now pour the green chilli pepper & tomatoes.
- Stir properly to mix the all ingredients & add the chopped mushroom.
- For almost 5-7 minutes cook it over the low temperature.
- Before serving with puri or parathas or chapattis decorate with fenugreek leaves (crushed).
