Holidays are the perfect time to greet your guests & appetizer is the special item to kick off your dinner or lunch. So try the following veg pakora & enjoy some different taste.
Ingredients:
- Gram flour/besan- 250 gm
- Garlic cloves- 4
- Mushrooms- 150 gm
- Oil- For frying
- Salt- As per taste
- Curry leaves- 1 bunch
- Ghee/clarified butter- 3 tbsp
- Green chillies- 2-3
- Turmeric- A pinch of
- Red chilli powder- As much heat you can take.
Direction:
- Firstly wash the mushrooms well under the running water.
- Now chop them into long sized portions.
- Transfer the chopped mushrooms into a medium sized bowl & mix together salt along with turmeric, curry leaves (minced) gram flour, green chillies, chopped garlic & red chilli powder.
- Mix well all the ingredients in the bowl.
- Pour some hot clarified butter along with some water to prepare medium thick liquid.
- Take a kadai & heat oil over a moderate temperature.
- Add medium sized drops out of that mixture.
- Let them fry till it turns brown in colour.
- Take them off over a paper towel.
- Transfer them to a serving plate & serve with tasty sauce or chutney.
