This unique recipe allows you to taste the mutton as well as coconut in the same preparation. Try this recipe for your next party & surprise the people with its different taste.
Ingredients:
Mutton- ½ kg (chop in to small pieces)
Onion- 2 (minced)
Ginger- ½ inch
Cumin seed- 1 tsp
Pepper- ½ tsp
Oil- 3-4 tbsp
Water- 2 cups
Salt- as per taste
Coconut (grated) – 1 cup
Direction:
Use blender/food processer to make a smooth paste of garlic & ginger.
Take a medium sized pan & heat oil.
Add the garlic-ginger paste & let it fry.
Pour the chopped onion & stir a little bit.
Allow it to fry for a few more minutes.
Gently add the mutton pieces, water & salt.
Let it boil properly.
In the mean time use the food processer to make fine paste of pepper, ginger & coconut.
Pour the mixture in the frying pan.
Let it cook till you get your desired semi solid gravy.
Remove from the heat & transfer to the serving bowl.
If you want you can garnish with the chopped coriander leaves before serving.
