Irrespective of veg or non-veg, adding potatoes is not really a big deal & you can easily get this ingredient in your nearest market. So try the following dish with some easy to get ingredients & enjoy some mouthwatering taste.
Ingredients:
- Coconut (grated)-1 tbsp
- Oil- 2-3 tbsp
- Green chilies- 2-3
- Potatoes-3-4
- Tamarind
- Salt- According to taste
- Curry leaves- 1 spring
- Mustard- A pinch of
- Asafoetida water
Direction:
- Clean the potatoes well, under the running water.
- Let it boil in water & then remove the skin.
- Take a medium sized wooden bowl & smash together green chilies along with grated coconut, salt & tamarind.
- Pour the peeled potatoes into a bowl & crush together.
- For seasoning the mixture fry the curry leaves along with mustard & red chili bits in medium hot oil.
- Before serving add a few drops of asafetida water & mix them well.
