Potatoes are always available in most of the Indian households. So preparing a potato vegetable is quite easy for everybody. When you find your pantry to be quite empty, then potato vegetable is one of the easy ways to manage your meal.
Ingredients:
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Salt- According to taste
- Curry leaves- 5-6
- Potato- 250 grm
- Mustard seeds- ½ tsp
- Green chili- 1-2
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Direction:
- Firstly wash the potatoes well & then boil them.
- Remove the skin & chop them into cubes.
- Take a frying pan & heat oil over moderate temperature.
- Add the chopped green chilies along with mustard seeds & curry leaves.
- Let the seeds begin to spatter & pour the turmeric powder, salt & cubed boiled potatoes.
- Add required amount of water & allow it to simmer for almost 5-6 minutes (until all the masalas bled well).
- To get some different taste you can use the cumin seeds instead of using mustard seeds.
