Jam or jelly is quite essential ingredient for every household, specially when you are having kids at home. Raspberry is known for its various health benefits. So it will be quite healthy for your kids. You can easily get this jam at your nearest market, but when you are preparing it at home then it has its own special charm.
Ingredients:
- Sugar- 2 ½ cups
- Raspberries- ½ kg
- Citric acid/lemon juice- ½ tsp/1 lemon
- Water- 2 cups
Direction:
- Wash the raspberries well & then pour it into a saucepan.
- Pour water & boil it thoroughly.
- Allow it to boil till it gets the tender texture over the low temperature.
- Now crush it & pour the lemon juice/citric acid along with the sugar.
- Stir well over the medium temperature till it turns thick.
- Transfer little bit of the mixture into a plate & observe whether it sets or not.
- If you find it sets then it’s completely prepared.
- Let it cool down a little bit & then transfer it in a glass made jar & cover it firmly.
