If you & your family are dessert lovers & yet to get any new dessert ideas, don’t worry here is a new recipe for you. Make this preparation surprise your family with some different taste.
Ingredients:
5 sliced- bread
100 gm- thick rabri
For garnish- finely minced almonds/cashew nuts/pistachio
1 sheet- silver leaf
For frying- ghee (as required)
For Syrup
100 gm- sugar
50 ml- water
1 pinch- cardamom powder
1 pinch-saffron (liquefied in 1 tsp hot water)
Direction:
Eliminate the hard crust brown portion of the bread & slice it in triangular pieces.
Take a frying pan & heat ghee.
Fry the bread slice (one at a time) until it turns golden brown in colour.
For sugar syrup boil the items listed.
For almost 5-8 minutes soak the bread slices in the syrup.
Place the slices on the serving dish.
Pour rabri on the bread slices.
Decorate the top with crushed nuts & silver leaf.
Keep it in the refrigerator for almost 1-2 hours (as much chilled as you desire).
Take it off from the refrigerator & serve cold.
