Usually you choose chicken or mutton for tandoori preparation, but you have little more options other than just fish and mutton. Try fish for tandoori & you will relish this new taste.
Ingredients:
White fish fillets- 2 lbs
Ginger- 1 tbsp (minced)
Vinegar- 1/3cup
Garlic- 4 cloves
Vegetable oil-½ cup
Cayenne pepper (ground)- 1 tsp
Salt- As per taste
Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds- 1 tbsp
Direction:
Wash the fish filets properly & keep them aside.
In a food processer/blender pour together ginger, vinegar, garlic, salt, cumin, coriander, oil & cayenne.
Now make a fine smooth paste of all the ingredients.
Rub the washed fish pieces with the paste & place them in the refrigerator for almost 4 hours.
At the maximum heat preheat the oven.
You can use foil to cover the oven try (it will help you to avoid mess).
Now put the marinated fish pieces on the covered tray & for almost 10-15 minutes broil them.
Again place in the oven for 8-10 minutes after you turn over the filets .
Continuous check your dish
Remove from the oven & serve the fish tandoori hot.
You can use onion rings & coriander to decorate the dish.
