We are mostly accustomed to hear chicken or mutton Manchurian, but here it’s a little different. This is for vegetarian people. Non vegetarian eaters can also try this preparation for some different taste.
Ingredients:
2 cup- Grated cabbage
2 cup- Carrot (grated)
1 tsp-Soya sauce
4-5 tbsp-Oil
4 tsp -Corn flour
5-7 flakes -Garlic flakes
2 (minced)- Green chilli
1 (diced)- Spring onion
According to taste- Salt
1 tsp- Pepper powder
To garnish- Chopped coriander leaves
Direction:
Wash the cabbage & carrots properly in warm water.
Squeeze to release the extra water & place it in a large bowl.
Add the corn flour, salt & green chillies.
Pour water as much required to make semi solid dough.
Create small dumplings out of the mixture & keep them aside.
Take a kadai or Chinese wok & heat oil on medium temperature.
Add the dumplings & let it fry until they turn golden brown in colour.
Drain the excess oil & keep them in a separate container.
In another frying pan heat the remaining oil (almost 2 tsp) & add garlic, spring onions and green chillies.
Add the salt along with pepper & soya sauce.
Pour the water & allow it to boil.
Slowly pour the fried balls in the boiling gravy.
Let it cook for more 5- minutes & remove from the heat.
Transfer to the serving bowl & garnish with minced coriander leaves.
