Kids are just crazy about cake. When you are preparing cake for them add some walnuts into it. It will make your cake tasty as well as healthy.
Ingredients:
- Sugar- 3 cup
- Vanilla- 2tsp
- Salt- ¼ tsp
- Butter- 1 cup
- Milk- 1 cup
- Shortening- ½ cup
- Eggs- 5
- Baking powder- ½ tsp
- Walnut- 1 cup (diced)
- Flour- 3 cup
Direction:
- Take a medium sized bowl & pour the butter along with shortening.
- Beat the mixture thoroughly until you get the creamy texture.
- Add eggs (one by one) & beat well after pouring each egg.
- Pour the flour (2 cups), followed by vanilla as well as milk.
- Now add the flour (1 cup) along with baking powder & salt.
- Sprinkle the minced walnuts.
- Take a pan (already greased & floured) & pour the whole mixture into the pan.
- At 350 degree F bake the pan over the middle shelf in your cold oven.
- Allow it to bake for almost 1 ¼ hour.
- Take it off from the oven & let it cool down completely.
